Two months to the day after construction walls went up around Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster to transfer its residency from Aerosmith to The Muppets, the walls are down, and we can now see the giant guitar in all its groovy glory.

The Muppet-themed reimagining of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster has been moving right along since its original incarnation starring Aerosmith closed on March 1, with construction walls going up the following day. Two months later, following steady scrim and scaffolding removal, the walls have completely disappeared from around the attraction.

Wheeled planters now block off the ride, but the signature guitar at the attraction entrance is now fully visible with its vibrant new Electric Mayhem-influenced paint job. The nearby upside-down car received its finishing touches at the end of March.

Here’s how the guitar looks from the left and right sides. The paint job is bright and shiny, and the different guitar components, from the input jack to the volume and tone control knobs, have been cleaned up.

Peering through the bushes, we can see that the movable planters are concealing that the rethemed painting of the piano keys is still not complete. We also get a good look at the swirls and stars on the bottom half of the guitar.

The new version of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster still takes place at G-Force Records, which was bought by Scooter’s uncle J.P. Grosse, and has a similar storyline to its previous Aerosmith incarnation. Disney released the complete tracklist for the Muppets ride featuring rock covers by The Electric Mayhem. In the queue will be Muppet propsThe Electric Mayhem posters, and celebrity cameos.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will open Memorial Day weekend. Starting May 6, eligible Cast Members and Disney employees can register for previews, which will take place on select dates in May.
