The Magic Kingdom welcome show “Let the Magic Begin” featuring Mickey and other characters will not return in full.

“Let the Magic Begin” Not Returning

The show ended performances in January due to painting of Cinderella Castle. Since then, only an audio message has welcomed guests to the park.

Disney has announced the welcome will remain audio-only. Characters will no longer appear on stage at the park’s open.

As we previously shared, Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire will add a morning performance beginning May 10. It was only performing in the afternoons for the past few months, also due to castle painting.
