In the 47th Annual Emmys – News Category ceremony last night, May 27, ABC and National Geographic took home a combined total of 15 wins.

47th Annual Emmys – News Winners

As reported previously, Disney received a record-breaking 96 nominations across the news and documentary categories for the 47th Annual Emmy Awards. The first of two ceremonies occurred yesterday, announcing the winners for the news category.

Across both ABC and National Geographic, Disney took home a total of 15 wins, including the top prize for outstanding live news program with “ABC World News Tonight With David Muir” – its fourth consecutive victory.
