‘Docking Bay 6’ Corrected to ‘Docking Bay 3’ in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The “Docking Bay 6” signage added to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios back in February has been corrected to read “Docking Bay 3.” The bay is the former entrance/exit to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge from the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser shuttle.

Docking Bay 6 is Docking Bay 3 Once More

Though the bay was always officially known as Docking Bay 3, there was no official signage within the land. A few months ago, Disney added a big red painted “Docking Bay 6” sign to the exterior, apparently renaming the location, even though this put Docking Bay 6 far from Docking Bay 7.

Apparently Disney realized their error, because it is designated as Docking Bay 3 once again. The new sign is also in shades of blue instead of red.

Regardless of the bay’s name, the painted signage may mean Disney is planning to do something new with the space. For now, it is only used for check-in for private “Capture Your Moment” PhotoPass sessions.

The bay is located next to First Order Cargo.
