Jellyrolls Façade Wall Gone, Building Gutted at Disney’s Boardwalk

After closing in early 2025, Jellyrolls’ former home at Disney’s BoardWalk in Walt Disney World is being completely overhauled on the inside. Jellyrolls also announced in April that they will be opening a new location later this year.

Jellyrolls Gutted

On a visit earlier today, May 7, any indication of Jellyrolls has been removed from the building. The colorful signs that read "Jellyrolls" and "Dueling Piano Bar" are both long gone. The color scheme of the building's exterior is still largely intact, though the left-side façade wall is completely gone.

For context, this is what it used to look like, as seen above. The red awning and windows on the left side are also gone, in addition to the white trim.

We can't see much that has been done on the right side of the building, though black plastic fences are up along the building to keep guests away from the work zone.

We can’t see much that has been done on the right side of the building, though temporary fences are up along the building to keep guests away from the work zone.

A white construction wall is in front of the now-removed left side façade wall. This area is now completely exposed.

We can see exposed beams peeking out from behind the construction wall. In the open spaces along the blue and white façade, we can also see insulation and other interior materials poking out. From the amount of exposure, we presume the building is being gutted down to the studs.

Since even before Jellyrolls closed, it’s been rumored that the replacement would be a Disney-owned jazz club.
