Crews have started work on the loading area for the Monsters, Inc. door roller-coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The coaster is part of a new Monstropolis land replacing Muppets Courtyard. Aerial photographer @bioreconstruct captured these photos during a recent flyover.

In the above overview, the sandy area in the foreground is the future site of the ride queue and gift shop. Directly beyond that will be the loading area.

More structural supports have been installed. Some will support the suspended coaster track.
Notice the one blue support on the far right of the above photo. We saw several of these blue supports in the staging area last month. This could be a visible support, hence the different color.

Two steel structures mark where separate track routes in the loading area will join together into one route for the rest of the attraction. There are footers for future supports across the concrete foundation.

More supports and other elements are ready in the staging area, which is near the Disney Skyliner.
Disney has not announced an opening timeline for the Monstropolis land.
