There are now blue roller-coaster supports visible at the staging ground for Monstropolis near Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Blue Monsters, Inc. Coaster Supports

We previously saw black support columns staged in this area, visible from the Disney Skyliner. Crews began installing the black columns soon after.
Now three blue columns are visible among the black. It’s possible these columns will be in a more themed area of the ride.

Blue is a major color associated with the Monsters, Inc. franchise and the titular company. The new roller-coaster will take place inside the Monsters, Inc. door vault. It will be Disney’s first suspended coaster and first vertical lift coaster.

It will be part of a larger Monstropolis land taking over the former Muppets Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. A model of the coaster, including the track layout, was revealed at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in 2024.
