Several more blue track supports are in place for Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift at Universal Studios Florida, as seen in photos by @bioreconstruct on X. The roller-coaster is under construction next to Hard Rock Cafe, replacing Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. In our last update, just a few short supports had been installed in this construction zone.

Now there are several supports of varying heights. They aren’t yet connected by track but we’re starting to get an idea of how the track will move through the air.
Look closely at the flat top of the the tallest support pictured above. You’ll see “DOT” (direction of travel) and an arrow pointing in the direction the coaster trains will move. This is clearly a curve that will take guests close to the ground before rising back up.
The supports installed earlier this month create the first part of the curve. More supports are in the distance, past a construction vehicle. There are also several sitting on the ground awaiting installation.
In a backstage area, dozens more supports are staged alongside track pieces.
Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift is scheduled to open at Universal Studios Florida in 2027. Another version will open this year at Universal Studios Hollywood.
