Celebrating the upcoming release of Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day, Universal Studios Florida has opened a summer Tribute Store dedicated to the filmmaker’s previous blockbusters. The featured movies include Jaws, E.T., and Jurassic Park, with real props and costumes from the films on display.

Inside are several photos of Spielberg on set over the years, with a quick history of his filmmaking career.

Jaws

The experience begins with the summer blockbuster that started it all: Jaws. A mural includes storyboards, behind-the-scenes photos, lobby cards, posters, stills, and a blueprint for the mechanical shark alongside quotes and facts about the film. Released in 1975, Jaws was the first film to ever gross $100 million at the domestic box office.

A corner of the room is bathed in ominous red light. A backdrop depicts the shark’s fin approaching the Orca boat. Amity Police barriers, a yellow barrier, and fishing props create a photo op.

In a display case is a shark mandible from Quint’s house, script pages and annotations by Steven Spielberg, and Lorraine Gary’s (Ellen Brody) personal bound script.

Another display showcases Jaws merchandise, including the 50th anniversary sipper, LEGO set, vintage Universal Studios Florida license plate, and the 1975 The Game of Jaws.

E.T.

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial was released in 1982 and became the highest-grossing film ever at the time. On the wall, you’ll see a concept painting and sketches, a storyboard, and photos from the film set.

In a display case are two original film props: the Speak & Spell and the coffee can transmitter.

The E.T. merchandise on display includes a Loungefly mini backpack, a vintage E.T. Furby, and an E.T. plush hat.

E.T.’s actual animatronic arm is in another case, complete with wiring and switches. You can almost hear him saying, “I’ll be right here.”

The space has fake trees and a moon in the sky, with the film prop bikes appearing to fly above. E.T. is even included in the basket with a sheet wrapped around him.

Jurassic Park

In 1993, Spielberg helmed Jurassic Park, bringing dinosaurs to life. As this wall notes, Jurassic Park is the highest-grossing film directed by Spielberg, and it pioneered computer-generated imagery.

There are several small props on display, including John Hammond’s cane with the mosquito frozen in amber. There are also dinosaur eggs, a Jurassic Park brochure, and Tim’s night vision goggles.

The original costume worn by Laura Dern as Dr. Ellie Satler is in a nearby case. The film’s costume supervisor was Sue Moore.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park

Spielberg followed Jurassic Park with The Lost World in 1997. Though not as critically-acclaimed as the original, it was the first of many sequels.

A Velociraptor maquette created by the movie’s art department is in a case near the center of the room. Although Velociraptors are portrayed taller than humans in the Jurassic Park franchise, this maquette is actually closer in size to the real dinosaurs.

There’s also a 1:1 scale Compsagnathus maquette. These are one of the smallest dinosaurs in the franchise.

A third dinosaur maquette on display depicts a Pachycephalosaurus, known for its domed head.

Clapperboards from both Jurassic Park and The Lost World share a case.

The all-black costume worn by Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm in The Lost World is also on display.

Disclosure Day

Jumping ahead to 2026, Spielberg’s Disclosure Day will be in theaters on June 12. Spielberg directed the film and came up with the story while his frequent collaborator and Jurassic Park writer David Koepp penned the screenplay.

Against one wall are three illuminated posters for Disclosure Day.

These costumes were worn by stars Josh O’Connor and Emily Blunt. The sci-fi thriller also stars Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, and Colman Domingo.

Film props include a backpack, Wardex ID badges for Firth’s Noah Scanlon and Domingo’s Hugo Wakefield, and a coffee mug for a Kansas City TV station.

After the exhibit rooms, there is a shop featuring merchandise for Spielberg films, including the new Jaws merchandise.
