The return of the Universal Mega Movie Parade to Universal Studios Florida has been quietly delayed from this weekend to early June.
Universal Mega Movie Parade Delayed

Originally scheduled to return on Saturday, May 23, the Universal Mega Movie Parade calendar now doesn’t show performances until Friday, June 5. It’s scheduled for a 6 p.m. performance that day and other select dates, but 7 p.m. performances for the rest of the summer.
The daytime parade already only performs for a few months out of the year and there have been multiple quiet cancellations and delays in its short history.

The parade debuted at Universal Studios Florida in the summer of 2024. Universal originally announced it would open on July 3 but later stated that date was the beginning of technical rehearsals. An additional Jurassic Park float was added a few months later. The parade didn’t perform in full until the Ghostbusters Ecto-1 vehicle finally joined the fleet in October, just two weeks before its final 2024 performance.

In the summer of 2025, it also performed into November, although only on select dates. Its season is three months shorter this year with an end date of August 23.
Though its calendar shows performances scheduled every day from June 5 through August 23, Discover Universal Blog states it will also perform on just “select dates” this year.
