Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Food Kiosk Surrounded by Planters After FØØD Announcement

Disney announced this morning that FØØD by Swedish Chef will open in the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios alongside the reimagined ride. FØØD is expected to replace KRNR The Rock Station, which closed in March. The snack kiosk is now surrounded by rolling planters so crew members can re-theme it.

Despite being closed for the past two months, the radio-themed food truck-like kiosk has still been completely visible. Now a row of planters cuts in front of it.

Before the planters went up, we noticed the large black speakers had been torn off the sides of the kiosk. Behind the speakers, the kiosk’s original blue wrap was visible. This was replaced by the mostly orange wrap years ago.

FØØD by Swedish Chef is scheduled to open on May 26 with Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets — in just under two weeks. Disney doesn’t have time to demolish and build a new kiosk, so we expect KRNR to just get new decorations and signage.

The image released for FØØD appears to show an Animal-inspired churro.
