Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Snack Kiosk The KRNR Shuttered at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The KRNR The Rock Station snack kiosk at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has apparently closed for the Muppets takeover of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.

The My Disney Experience app has listed the kiosk as “Closed,” and there are no hours posted on the Walt Disney World website for the foreseeable future.

When we’ve visited the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster courtyard over the past few days, the kiosk has been shuttered. We last saw it operating on Monday.

The kiosk offered mini corn dogs, tortilla chips, mini churros, frozen treats, and alcoholic beverages like Jack and Coke.

We would guess the kiosk is closed to receive updated Muppets theming, or just because the courtyard is seeing so little traffic with Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster closed. Disney hasn’t made any announcement about the kiosk.

Face painting and the merchandise kiosk in the courtyard are still operating, although a construction permit was recently filed for the latter.

Check out our last look at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. It will reopen this summer as Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. The retheme is already visible to guests as the upside-down vehicle at the ride entrance has received a groovy new paint job to represent Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem.
