Ch-ch-changes keep on rolling for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Last week, we saw flame outlines appear on the coaster’s upside-down car, which were quickly filled in with red paint. Then, yesterday, we saw that yellow was added to the mix, and now some groovy orange has joined the color scheme.

Since yesterday, orange details have been added to the exterior of the upside-down car. These seem to follow along some of the added paintlines, as seen above. The most striking new addition is the swirl pattern seen on the side of the car, pointing to the ride’s groovier Muppets theming.

On a visit to Hollywood Studios this morning, March 12, we noticed that the car still has the original Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster license plate and emblem on the back. The right taillight is also missing.

As you can see, the orange detailing is present on both sides of the vehicle.

Although the giant guitar in front of the ride is still covered up, we know that it will also receive a more psychedelic color scheme as well.

In the new version of the ride, guests still enter G-Force Records on a V.I.P. tour, this time encountering the Electric Mayhem.
G-Force Records has been bought by Scooter’s uncle, real estate tycoon and owner of the Muppet Theatre, J.P. Grosse. He put Scooter in charge, and guests will meet the manager in animatronic form in the new pre-show. There, guests will also see animatronic penguin audio engineers, Miss Piggy, and Kermit on screens, and the band.
To reach the Electric Mayhem’s concert on time, guests board limousines altered by Muppet Labs. The ride’s scenery and landmarks will feature a Muppet twist, and guests will hear the Electric Mayhem playing iconic hits.
