According to the rumors, which have yet to be confirmed by Universal Orlando, The Mystic Fountain's last day may be Friday, May 15. This potential news comes as more and more areas of The Lost Continent are shuddering for its upcoming demolition.

According to the rumors, which have yet to be confirmed by Universal Orlando, The Mystic Fountain’s last day may be Friday, May 15. The Mystic Fountain in Sindbad’s Bazaar is an interactive spot. Guests can speak to the water spirit within the fountain, who will talk back to them and may even splash them.

This potential news comes as more and more areas of The Lost Continent are shuddering for its upcoming demolition. Just the other day, we announced the closure of the Mythos Restaurant in 2027.

In Sindbad’s Bazaar was the stunt stage show The Eighth Voyage of Sindbad. This closed in 2018, although the set remains fully intact, and the theater has been used as a Cool Zone. The bazaar also has the interactive Mystic Fountain. This year, How to Train Your Dragon took over Sindbad’s Bazaar in honor of the live-action remake’s release.

The columns have been stripped of their theming, revealing steel beams underneath. And, part of one of the arches is in the process of being removed. Only a portion of the blue and white design remains.

The Lost Continent used to include three sections: the medieval Merlinwood, Sindbad’s Bazaar, and the Atlantis-style Lost City.
