To paraphrase the infamous Count Dooku: “twice the booth, double the photos”. There are now two Galactic ID kiosks available for adventurers at Disneyland Resort.
Additional Star Wars Photobooth for Disneyland Resort

The machines are located inside Star Wars Trading Post in the Downtown Disney District, where guests can create custom ID cards inspired by different factions and character types from the Star Wars galaxy.
The original kiosk debuted with the experience in late April, offering one personalized Galactic ID for $15.

The newly installed second kiosk appears nearly identical to the first. Both machines feature identical illuminated signage across the top, black privacy curtains, glowing side panels, and in-universe themed exterior details, with blue lighting visible near the base of the units.
The added machine should increase capacity for the experience, which drew lengthy waits shortly after launch. Though today our reporter was told by a Cast Member that the wait would be at least two hours, even with the second machine.
Star Wars Galactic ID – $15

Inside the booth, guests select their ID design based on “faction.” After paying, you’ll take three photos and pick your favorite of the three for printing on the ID, or you have the option to retake photos until you choose one you love.
A preview of the final design is generated so guests can review before it prints (although at this stage, it’s too late to change their minds). The ID prints outside the machine and can take up to two minutes.
There are six designs, which are on display on the outside of the machine. The ID automatically puts your photo into the respective costume. The options are Jedi Knight, TIE Fighter pilot, Stormtrooper, X-Wing pilot, bounty hunter, and New Republic pilot.
The ID material is translucent, giving it a more sci-fi feel, appropriate for something you could expect out of the Star Wars universe.
When the first kiosk was installed, we waited about 5 hours before getting our chance to print an ID. The machine is a permanent addition, according to Cast Members, so wait times will probably drop in the coming weeks.
