Haunted Mansion was closed the entire weekend of May 2-3 but has now reopened at Magic Kingdom.
Haunted Mansion Reopens at Magic Kingdom
The Haunted Mansion didn’t open for Magic Kingdom guests all day on Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3. The My Disney Experience app simply showed the ride as being “temporarily closed.”
Cast Members were unable to explain the closure, nor where they able to provide an expected reopening time or date. However, the ride is open today, Monday, May 4. At approximately 9:30 a.mn. the wait time is 13 minutes (a.k.a no wait).
While the Haunted Mansion has been undergoing extensive exterior refurbishment since February 2026, it has remained open and operating for guests.
