After being closed for a few months for refurbishment, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters will be reopening at Disneyland next week.

The Disneyland website was updated with the new opening date for Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters: Friday, June 12.

The ride has been closed since April 2026 for refurbishment. Though Disney didn’t announce details of the refurbishment, we don’t expect it to be as extensive as the Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin refurbishment at Disney World. While the East Coast version of the ride got new vehicles, refreshed scenes, updated targets, and more, the West Coast version of the ride likely underwent general maintenance.

Little Green Men Store Command at Disneyland also reopened a few days ago, though scrim is covering the facade.
