Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Bus Depot Construction Complete, Not Open Yet

Construction is seemingly complete on the new bus depot being built at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, though it’s not open yet.

Bus Depot Construction Update

We got a look at the construction changes during our June 5, 2026 visit to the resort. The new depot sits beneath the Walt Disney World Monorail beam, near the resort roadway and parking lot.

A sign outside still informs guests that buses are temporarily located at the porte cochere. We also noticed one crew member finishing a paint job.

Since our last update, all the protective sheathing covering the benches has been removed, showing the staggered wood plank design of each bench. The plastic wrap covering the nearby garbage cans has also been removed.

The structure has dark wood beams and a dark wood roof, along with round, dangling lights.

More wooden benches can be found further down the walkway underneath the Monorail beam.

The new bus stop is part of broader entrance and transportation-area work at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
