Tokyo DisneySea 25th Anniversary Bullet Train Launches

A bullet train (Shinkansen) themed to Tokyo DisneySea’s 25th anniversary has entered service in Japan. The latest collaboration between East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and Oriental Land Co. (owners of Tokyo Disney Resort) celebrates the park’s anniversary with a “Jubilee Blue” design featuring Mickey and Friends.

The characters are pictured on the train’s exterior in their Sparkling Jubilee 25th anniversary costumes alongside icons of the park like Mount Prometheus and the Aquasphere. The wrap also features the 25th anniversary logo and sparkling accents.

Inside are decorative blue headrests featuring Mickey, Minnie, and the Aquasphere. This marks the first time that JR East has had decorative headrests on a Shinkansen train.
