Universal Orlando Resort announced that the Halloween Horror Nights 35 scare zone starring Killer Klowns from Outer Space will also feature Art the Clown from the Terrifier franchise.
Downtown Clowntown
Universal previously teased the return of Killer Klowns from Outer Space. We now know they will appear in Downtown Clowntown:
The city that never sleeps becomes a waking nightmare when it’s overrun by Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Art the Clown and other clownsfolk who can’t wait to tear you limb from limb.
This scare zone will be in the park’s New York area outside the Tribute Store.
Based on the 1988 sci-fi horror comedy B-movie Killer Klowns from Outer Space, the Killer Klowns have appeared at multiple Halloween Horror Nights events at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. They had their own scare zone at the 2018 Orlando event, followed by a house in 2019 at both Orlando and Hollywood. The house returned to Hollywood in 2022.
Art the Clown debuted at Halloween Horror Nights with last year’s Terrifier house at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. He also occasionally appeared in scare zones and roamed the park.
Other scare zones at Halloween Horror Nights 35 will be the Infernal Carnival of Nightmares, Sideshow of Decay, and FORTNITEMARES, plus the Mel’s Die-In: Zombies and Club Horror street experiences.
Halloween Horror Nights 35 at Universal Studios Florida
Halloween Horror Nights 35 at Universal Studios Florida is on select nights from August 28 through November 1, 2026.

There will be a Stranger Things lagoon show. The stage show will be Nightmare Fuel: Blood Noir featuring sword swallower Auzzy Blood.
