Disneyland Paris shared a behind-the-scenes look at their 2026 Bastille Day drone show. The annual performance will not feature fireworks this year due to the ongoing heatwave, but it will still bring the sky to life with over 1,600 drones.

The drones by Dronisos are combined with lighting effects on Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant (Sleeping Beauty Castle) and a brand-new soundtrack. The performance takes place on Tuesday, July 14. See footage from rehearsals below.
Last year, Disneyland Paris set a new Guinness World Records title for the “Largest aerial display of a fictional character formed by multirotors/drones” during their Bastille Day celebration when 1,571 drones created a tricolor Mickey Mouse head. The year before, the show set the record for most drones used in a show in Disney Parks history. That year’s performance incorporated 1,500 drones.
