Large Tree Removed at Indiana Jones for Mysterious Project Fedora

The large tree outside of the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular has been removed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the mysterious Project Fedora.

A large tree that formerly sat in front of Backlot Express outside of the Indiana Jones stunt show has been taken down. The area is still surrounded by rolling planters that we first spotted back in March.

Disney recently filed two permits for “Project Fedora,” although neither gave a hint as to what work was planned.

For reference, this is what the tree looked like:

The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular exit is, of course, still open for guests leaving. They just have to walk around the planters. Depending on what is planned for the space, construction walls may eventually replace the planters.

In the past few years, the space has been used as a home for outdoor vending carts and special meet and greets.

What do you hope to see in this space at Disney’s Hollywood Studios? Let us know on social media.
