Trees have been removed, and theming is being installed around the future Up attraction in Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris.

Up Ride Construction

DLP Works shared new photos this week of construction progress on the ride, dubbed Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings. Most trees were cleared from a flowerbed adjacent to the construction site to prepare for installation of a Russell statue.

Themed architectural elements are being added to the building for the ride’s technical facilities. There are now columns, archways, and overhangs. Wooden frames act as molds while concrete hardens.

The large dome on top of the building is covered by a protective tarp. See the dome without tarps in a previous construction update. Crew members were working at the edge of the roof when DLP Works took their photos.

Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings is scheduled to open in 2027. The first-ever Up attraction is a “flying chair carousel” consisting of 48 chairs that hold 64 guests. Read more details about Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings.
