An updated coin machine and new coins have cropped up at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom. We noticed it today, July 13.
Coin Machine
The new coin machine, which is paneled in wood, blends in with the rustic designs around Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
It should be noted that none of the designs are actually for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The pressed pennies are 1 for $1 or all eight for $5. These designs include:
- Frontierland with Cowboy Mickey
- Frontierland with Cowpokes Stitch and Angel
- Frontierland with Cowboy Goofy
- Frontierland with Cowboys Goofy, Mickey, and Donald
- Toy Story with Jessie
- Toy Story with Stinky Pete
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad with Mickey
Five new Disney pressed penny machines have recently been installed around Magic Kingdom, replacing older machines. Some of those previously featured a hand crank for pressing the souvenir coins. The new machines feature large touch screens and updated tap-to-pay points.
We hope the collectible coin machine outside in Storybook Circus at Magic Kingdom is replaced soon, as it is deteriorating.
