Earlier this year, it was announced that the cinema complex at Disney Village in Disneyland Paris will start its major refurbishment in the second half of 2026. We have now learned it will begin by the end of the summer.

Village Cinema

The goal is to introduce a new Pathé cinema experience in 2027 with a redesigned façade, fully renovated auditoriums featuring recliner seats for unmatched comfort, a Pathé Café offering a wide selection of food and beverages, a Häagen-Dazs corner, and a Pathé Games area where friends and families can get together before or after a movie.

Carried out in phases to allow the cinema to remain open throughout the renovation, the project will complement the major transformation currently underway at Disney Village, contributing to a more modern, welcoming, and vibrant experience across the shopping and dining district of Disneyland Paris.

This is not the only recent change at Disney Village, as a new McDonald’s location has replaced its original. Last year, Disney Style, Disney Glamour, Petite Rosalie terrace restaurant, Deco by Disney, and a new LEGO Store opened. Italian restaurant Casa Giulia will open by the end of the year, taking over the Planet Hollywood footprint.
