Among the topiaries freshly installed for the 2024 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is a brand-new Goofy topiary.
Goofy Topiary
The Goofy topiary can be found in a flower bed on the rosewalk between the Imagination! Pavilion and Refreshment Port. He’s depicted leaning forward about to blow on a dandelion in his hand.
This is a brand-new topiary shape for Goofy. In previous years, the Goofy topiary depicted him standing straight up with a bundle of flowers in his hands.
Around Goofy are the festival blooms creating the giant shapes of flowers and butterflies.
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Chip, Dale, and Pluto topiaries will be on the World Showcase Bridge. Donald Duck will be in the Community Garden near Connections Café.
Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Tick Tock Croc Topiaries
Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and Tick Tock Croc are in the flower beds between the United Kingdom Pavilion and Canada Pavilion. Peter and Hook face off in the flowerbed to the left, while Tick Tock Croc appears to be swimming through the flowers on the right.
Peter looks like he’s hovering among the brightly-colored flowers around him. Hook brandishes his rapier and hook hand.
These topiaries are staples of the festival that have returned year after year.
The Tinker Bell topiary is in a flowerbed on the other side of the U.K. Pavilion where she will be surrounded by tiny fairy houses.
The flowers around Tick Tock Croc are blue. He’s actually two separate topiaries. His head and arms are one and his tail is another, creating the illusion of him emerging from the water.
Winnie the Pooh & Friends Topiaries
Winne the Pooh, Rabbit, Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore are in the flower beds outside Sportsman’s Shoppe. Pooh Bear and Rabbit are to the left.
Pooh is holding a red “balloon” in his hand. A honey pot is on the ground next to him.
Rabbit has two bundles of carrots in his arms.
Tigger is wearing a big grin as he stands next to Eeyore and Piglet.
The little Piglet is riding on Eeyore.
Mickey & Elephant in Topiary Heritage Garden
In the gardens at the back of the U.K. Pavilion are two simple topiaries in wood boxes. One depicts Mickey Mouse and the other is an elephant.
Though not included on the full list of topiaries and global gardens, these are part of the returning Topiary Heritage Garden. Last year, this garden displayed different styles of topiaries to teach guests about the Disney Horticulture tradition.
Mickey is in one flowerbed and the elephant is in the other.
Anna & Elsa Topiaries
On the other side of the lagoon, Anna and Elsa topiaries have arrived in the Norway Pavilion. The sisters are depicted in their classic “Frozen” outfits, albeit mostly in shades of shrub green. They’re displayed among potted flowers facing the lagoon at the edge of the pavilion.
Elsa has one arm curved above her head and the other stretched in front of her, as though she’s sending an icy bolt of magic forward.
Anna has one hand up in a wave. Guests can meet the sisters in person nearby at the Royal Sommerhus, where they appear in their outfits from the end of “Frozen II.”
“Frozen 3” and “Frozen 4” are in development from Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Snowflake Topiaries
In a flower bed closer to the lagoon are four large snowflake topiaries. Last year, these were closer to Anna and Elsa, as though Elsa had created them. These are simple round shrubs with white snowflake frames around them. They’re on white poles sticking out of the ground.
The 2024 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival runs from February 28 through May 27. The festival is a full month shorter than it was in recent years.
