Testing at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure continues as the flume was filled and flowing today at the Magic Kingdom.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Testing
The salt mine is flush with foliage, but scaffolding remains.
Water testing has been underway sporadically, mostly in the late evenings. The attraction is set to open this summer at Magic Kingdom, and sometime later this year at Disneyland.
The visible outdoor portion of the flume was full of flowing water.
The layout and most of the infrastructure of the former Splash Mountain are being utilized for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, but instead of a desert, the exterior is meant to resemble a southern bayou. Foliage native to the biome has been added.
The log-shaped ride vehicles will still be used to carry guests through their adventure as Tiana prepares for a Mardi Gras celebration. The indoor portion of the ride will feature new audio-animatronics, including Louis, a new animal band, and Tiana.
