A new haunted house, Major Sweets Candy Factory, has been announced for Halloween Horror Nights 33.

Major Sweets Candy Factory is the third original house to be announced for HHN 33. It joins the already-announced Goblin’s Feast and Slaughter Sinema 2 for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort. Check out the full announcement below.

Major Sweets has become part of HHN lore in years past, appearing in the HHN 31 scare zone, Sweet Revenge. The candy company owner is known to have killed several people with poisoned candy, and could be seen walking around the scare zone. His lore was also tied to the Tribute Store that year. Additionally, guests could snack on a Major Sweets ice cream sandwich from one of the event’s food booths. This year, the lore with continue with a look inside of his candy factory.
Halloween Horror Nights 33 will run from August 30 through November 3, 2024. As the houses continue to be built for the event, merchandise has already become available. So far, we’ve seen merch leaning into a neon spray paint design aesthetic.
