In 1996, Walt Disney World Resort celebrated its 25th anniversary. As part of the celebration, Cinderella Castle underwent a huge transformation, as it was turned into a massive pink birthday cake.
Now you can step back in time nearly 30 years, with this new vintage T-shirt showing Cinderella Castle as it appeared during those festivities. It’s pink, covered in white icing, and topped with candles. Fireworks explode above the castle, and “Walt Disney World Circa 1996” is in black beneath the icon.
The shirt is white and 100% imported cotton with a ribbed crew neck.
Past merchandise related to the Cinderella Castle birthday cake includes a mug, a 25th-anniversary pin, and a hoodie. In 2021, Disney Genie introduced an AR filter that allowed guests to snap photos with the castle and its birthday cake overlay.
