Reminder: Three Walt Disney World Refurbishments Starting January 12

After the conclusion of the 2026 Marathon Weekend, three different refurbishments have started at Walt Disney World. This includes transportation, parking, and a food location in various areas across the Resort.

Reshreshment Port Refurbishment

Reshreshment Port will be closed for refurbishment from january 12 through march 3 2026.

As previously reported, Refreshment Port is now listed as closed for refurbishment on the official Walt Disney World Website. With the release of the full menus, a specialty poutine will not be available at this location for the 2026 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. The festival runs from January 16 until February 23, 2026.

Last year, a Caprese Poutine, Artist Palette Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookie, and Blood Orange Cosmo were offered at Refreshment Port for the festival. The Cookie and Blood Orange Cosmo have been moved to Refreshment Outpost.

Reshreshment Port will be closed for refurbishment from january 12 through march 3 2026.

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Currently, the location will be closed through March 13, although that is as far as the calendar goes at this time. Disney has not released a statement on the closure.

Lime Garage Refurbishment

the lime garage at disney springs will be closed from january 12 through march 14.

As previously reported, the five-level garage at Disney Springs will undergo structural repairs. It will be closed from January 12 through February 11, 2026. It will then briefly reopen for Presidents’ Day weekend from February 12 through 16, then close again from February 17 through March 13, 2026. That will mean the project’s completion will be before most spring break periods. The garage will officially reopen on March 14.

The other Disney Springs parking options are the Orange Garage, Grapefruit Garage, Watermelon Parking Lot, and Strawberry Parking Lot.

The Orange garage was similarly refurbished in January 2025 and recently received themed barriers and stanchions in October. Disney Springs also has a new feature in the My Disney Experience app that lets you know when Disney Springs’ parking lots and garages are full.

Wilderness Lodge Boat Dock Refurbishment

the wilderness lodge boat dock will be refurbished while boat traffic will be unavailable from january 12 through 30.

As previously reported, boat transportation will be suspended from January 12 through 30.

From Jan. 12, 2026, through early April 2026, the boat dock at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will undergo routine maintenance. The dock will be closed and boat transportation temporarily suspended from Jan. 12–30.
