The newest Disney Cruise Line ship, the Disney Adventure, arrived at Port Canaveral Wednesday night. The ship’s home port will be in Singapore, but it is making a pit stop in Florida before continuing its journey.
Disney Adventure Arrives at Port Canaveral

Construction of the Disney Adventure was completed at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany. The ship had its first float out in spring 2025, followed by sea trials. The ship was originally scheduled for a December 2025 maiden voyage but this was delayed to March 10, 2026.
Disney took ownership of the vessel in December and it began its journey from Bremerhaven, Germany. It stopped at Madeira and will make two more stops in Los Angeles and Tokyo before arriving at Singapore.
As the ship passed through the Bahamas, the Disney Destiny and Disney Fantasy briefly escorted her, creating the rare sight of three Disney Cruise Line ships sailing at once.

WDWNT was at Port Canaveral last night to see the ship pull into port. Though it has a similar design to other Disney Cruise Line ships, it is unique because it began its life as the Global Dream, commissioned by Genting Hong Kong’s Dream Cruises. When the company went bankrupt, Disney Cruise Line acquired the half-built ship.

It is now the largest Disney Cruise Line cruise ship, accommodating about 6,000 passengers.
The ship’s inaugural season will consist of three- and four-night cruises. Features include a Storybook Castle in the Imagination Garden atrium, a Captain Jack Sparrow show, a Duffy and Friends show, and Marvel rides.
