The splash pad in World: Discovery at EPCOT is now surrounded in mystery construction walls. It’s been closed on and off for the past few months.

The World Discovery Liquid Layer Splash Pad is surrounded in mystery construction walls. It has been closed on and off since at least mid-February 2026, and it is sometimes surrounded by stanchions.

We aren’t sure if the closure is related to a possible refurbishment or when the walls will be removed. The splash pad reopened after a multi-week refurbishment in November 2023.
