Summer is in full swing here in Florida. The temperatures are rising steadily, and we’re ready for another hot day here at the Magic Kingdom.
We decided to take a quick trip through the Emporium and found a lot of new merchandise. This adorable new “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” pin is now available for $9.99. Simba and Nala look great on this cute open edition pin.
There’s even more love just a little further into the store. This Loungefly backpack is so cute. It even has Mickey ears and a face! You can pick this one up for $55.
The straps and handle are rainbow-striped, too.
Check out the lining.
Let’s head to Adventureland and check out what’s new.
We spotted a bunch of new Lion King tops. This “Remember Who You Are” Simba tank is a great need at $34.99.
Tortuga Tavern debuted a new menu. Looks like it’s lunch time!
We tried the jerk-smoked brisket sandwich with housemade chili-lime chips and the ropa vieja. Delicious!
After lunch, we decided to cool off with a little Splash Mountain.
In the Briar Patch, the new Br’er Bear and Br’er Fox plush have joined Br’er Rabbit. Br’er Fox is $26.99 and Br’er Bear is $29.99. They’re so cute!
In the Frontier Trading Post, there is actually a trading post. At noon, the pin trading post comes out and guests can find the line to trade right outside the door on the porch. Bring your trading pins and come on out!
Let’s make our way to the other side of the park.
Over at Big Top Souvenirs, the new featured Glacier is Banana-Orange Swirl. It sounds delicious, but I think I’ll get my banana orange swirl Glacier from Goofy’s Candy Co. at Disney Springs, instead. Their version is a little more grown-up.
Over in Tomorrowland, the view is incredible. Nothing beats a relaxing ride on the PeopleMover.
Checking in on construction projects around the park, we love the view of Tron. It’s going to be a sad day when it eventually becomes enclosed and we can no longer behold its true beauty.
It appears framing for the actual ride building is going up now.
Before heading out of Tomorrowland, we had to try the new 2319 Cone available at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies. Mango-vanilla swirl with a toxic sugar cookie sock is a wonderful addition to Tomorrowland (even if we’re sad to see the Up Cone leave).
Cinderella Castle pathway is getting more detailing. Be sure to check out latest update for more on the progress.
That’s about it for today. Thanks for following us around on this beautiful day at the Magic Kingdom. It’s going to be an exciting summer, so make sure you stay tuned for more updates!
I can’t believe you got a shot of tomorrowland with hardly ANY people! in JULY ~! ?
