Welcome to another cold day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. We made our way over to Islands of Adventure and headed right for Hogsmeade to see the new lockers for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.
The lockers are beautiful and a much needed addition. This will greatly enhance the guest experience and make things easier for Team Members. For a closer look at this newly opened themed locker area, check out our post here.
We’ve been lucky enough to catch Jurassic World VelociCoaster testing at night and during the day and now we’ve been spotting it going around a lot more frequently. It’s exciting to watch and we can’t wait to experience it when it opens.
Forgive us for spamming you with VelociCoaster content. We love it already.
Keep an eye out for the Grinch in Seuss Landing. He may just make a surprise appearance when you’re least expecting it.

Over at Universal Studios Florida, we checked in on Ben & Jerry’s in New York. Unfortunately, Schwab’s Pharmacy recently switched from Ben & Jerry’s ice cream to Haagen-Dazs so we’ve been wondering what would happen to the other Ben & Jerry’s location in the park. Signage outside has remained, but it looks like work is taking place on the interior. There aren’t too many noticeable changes yet, but we’ll be keeping an eye on the area.
Just a quick trip to the Universal Holiday Experience featuring Macy’s Balloons.
It’s a cold day, so the crowds aren’t too bad.
