We’re back at the newly opened Jurassic World Tribute Store at Universal Studios Florida to try another tasty treat. This time, we chose the Pistachio Puff from the Treat Outpost.
Treat Outpost can be found in the last room of the tribute store, and holds many of the new Jurassic World sweets.
Pistachio Puff with Chocolate Medallion – $6
The Jurassic World logo on the chocolate medallion is cute, and unfortunately the only part of this treat that we liked.
The pistachio pastry shell was a little dry, though it was flavorful.
The cream filling is supposed to be orange and pistachio flavored but was more of a generic artificial citrus flavor.
The pistachio flavor was totally overpowered. The combination of the pistachio and chocolate with so much citrus filling did not work for us.
We gave the pistachio puff bonus points for the chocolate Jurassic World logo, but even that wasn’t enough to save it. We recommend choosing something else, like the Chocolate Dinosaur Egg we tried earlier today.
