Among the new treats available in the Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store in Universal Studios Florida is a Frankenstein cake.
The Frankenstein cake is at the center of the above picture. A separate Frankenstein cupcake is on the top shelf.
Frankenstein Cake – $8.00
We’re a little bit obsessed with the somewhat sad look of this guy. His nose, mouth, and stitches are painted on his green skin, while black hair drips down his face.
His candy button eyes look like they know they’re going to be devoured.
The cake itself is excellent! It has a similar flavor profile to an Oreo cake, with chocolate cake and vanilla frosting layered together.
The frosting wasn’t too sweet and the cake tasted different than the chocolate cake in the Jack cake jar. This chocolate cake tasted better.
The shell adds just a bit of melty milk chocolate flavor as you dig in. The hair is dark chocolate and complements the cake very well. We definitely recommend this cake!
