Even though Mears Connect only began transporting guests between Orlando International Airport and Walt Disney World’s resort hotels a month ago, changes are already occurring with the service.
Mears has removed a guarantee from their website that promised they “will have you on your way to your resort within 20 minutes of your check-in to the Mears Connect reception area,” previously listed in the FAQs section. The promise that Standard service “will make a limited number of stops” is still listed.
Since the service officially launched on January 1, there have been some growing pains. Just over a week after launch, a communications issue between Disney and Mears left guests with early flights stranded with roads closed due to Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. Days later, Mears raised the price of its Express service to $250.00 for up to four passengers.

MEARS sucked. I will not be using it again.
Uber to your (off-resort, because at this point there’s very little included in those stupid price tags) hotel and then take the Lynx bus system to and from the parks. If I’m not getting quality for the big money, my goal is to minimize extra costs as much as possible.
I’m hiring a private service owned by an old friend. He’s giving me a deal. Disney bus service stunk on our last trip December 2020. Plane landed at 1:30, at 3:00 we were boarding the Disney Express. Multiple excuses from cast members.
