A new dining package is coming to the Top of the World Lounge at Bay Lake Tower, part of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The lounge reopens with its new villain’s lair theme on July 11, and the “Wicked Wind Down” package will be available on the same date.
The Top of the World Lounge is available to select Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Members. Guests can visit when they have a current reservation at a Walt Disney World Resort using their DVC points. They also must qualify for Membership Magic.
The “Wicked Wind Down” package is priced at $55 per person and includes a cocktail, an appetizer, and a special “sinfully sweet treat.” It also includes a reserved viewing area on the rooftop terrace for the fireworks, as well as a reserved table inside the lounge.
Guests will be able to choose from the new menu, featuring villainous fare such as a “Cherna-Board” charcuterie board, “Unfortunate Souls Shrimp,” “Lair-Made Hummus,” and “Who’s Afraid of Pork Belly Sliders,” along with several poisonous cocktails: “The Other Side,” “The Underworld” and “Mirror Mirror Moonshine.”
Eligible DVC Members can call Member Services to book the package. As of now, the package is only available through August 11.

Ok here we go again. So essentially they are taking away something that was free or at least “pay as you go” and now charging a premium price for it, since the limited tables in the lounge will now be “RESERVED” for those booking this package. I am beginning to believe that they truly only want people with unlimited funds to come to Disneyworld at this point. They are taking away the magic and replacing it with annoyance and disgust. Thinking about selling my DVC before that price goes down the toilet like my Disney stock.
Anyone know if this means ONLY those who opt for the package can go to the terrace or to the Top of the World Lounge, or are both still open to DVC members who did not get the package.
Be there the day you want to come up and put your name in the wait list. If there’s availability, they’ll text you. It seems there’s minimal capacity when I went last 8/6.
If your member card says DVC Y and you’re staying on site using points, you qualify to enter. Of course, like anything else, it’s based on capacity limits.
