  1. Disappointing that there were no pyrotechnics or extra characters for the last of this long running and fan favorite show. Going to the Magic Kingdom will never be the same again.

  2. Enjoyed being welcomed into the park. Please leave it. Princesses at the castle and leave Mickey to greet the guests.

  3. Disney is on the road to being the WORST theme park running company on Earth. Almost every article on this site is about a cut back. NOTHING new. NOTHING. Their new areas coming are 100% sales oriented (Pandora, Star Wars, Toystory), and not interest to make the parks fun or even memorable. Bob Iger needs to sell the parks to 3rd party and give up on them, and just make movies. It’s really all they’re decent at now. Unfortunately true.

  4. Thanks for showing the last show! Nobody can dispute, Disney World is dyeing a slow, painful death into oblivion. The new show is just same show the do later. They only want people in the parks to buys stuff. Nothing else. Never seen a company who gives less of a damn for the customers that survived. No wonder Disney offering so many discounts. I’m more a fan of Disney than Universal overall, but Comcast/Universal is kicking Disney’s ass in the theme park division.

      • You guys must work for Disney. Nobody else is that dumb to post a complaint about all the shows and attractions WDW has closed, when this is a WDW fan site. Well..most nobody is that dumb. You might be the exception.

        • I agree with Cheryl. NO true fan of Disney would look at the complaints of everything Disney has cut back on as a good thing. The true babies are the one complaining about fan’s posts. If you don’t like shows, parades, rides, food cuts, staff cuts, we don’t care…as you’re not obviously a Disney fan!

          • Thanks. Disney has cut back way too much. And a fan of WDW wouldn’t bash other posts that point this out.

    • Some please one stick a cock in this guys mouth so he’ll stop complaining and whining about other people’s posts. If you don’t like the site, don’t visit!

  5. “Keep moving forward.” This show caused a horrific bottleneck for those arriving 15 minutes before park opening. It caused security issues. I cried like a baby when I heard they were changing the show, but this is a move in the right direction. It is better for everyone. I can’t think of a single drawback to changing the show, except that they’ve always done the old one, and Walt was never one to hold onto anything for long, let alone at least 30 years.

    • Keep moving forward. Cancel all shows and attractions. There’s enough idiots who will come JUST to buy stuff! This show, and the many others they’ve cancelled this year to save money had nothing to do with bottlenecks or security. Get real.

    • Honestly I just think it’s ridiculous that people are complaining or even defending it before the new show starts because the underlying issues that most people seem to have with management’s decisions are a drop in quality and shameless money grabs. Is this a shameless money grab? Absolutely, but like you said, it also gets rid of a horrible bottle neck. Also nobody is holding a gun to your head telling you to buy stuff on Main Street while you wait. As for a drop in quality, which considering all the talk of “true fans” on this post, I would think a true fan would want to see how quality is affected first and that can’t happen until tomorrow. If it has half as many cast members in it, absolutely no WOW moments, and nothing positive to remember it by, then I think people absolutely have a right to be upset. Until then though, people just need to relax. It’s not like they’re replacing it with a Marvelous Frozen Star Wars Welcome Show. Which if they do, then everyone can riot.

      • Bad news. ALL shows, including Star Wars are on the chopping block at WDW. Star Wars has possibility of short term stay if it sells enough merchandise. This show was just for fun, didn’t sell anything, therefore, it’s gone! Spend money every second, in every inch, or get the fuck out of Disney. That’s their motto.

        • Get the fuck out of Disney Merchandise now available on the Shop Disney Parks App! Download for free on the App Store and Google Play Store.

  6. There is still going to be a show its just going to be at the end of main street instead of the beginning of it.

    • Jeff, it’s not a new show. It’s the same show they do at the castle, just one earlier. This is a cut back to save money. If you’re too dumb to realize it, please move along.
