On our review trip to the new Spyglass Grill at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, we decided to walk around and see what progress was being made on this hotel’s ongoing transformation.

Of course, construction of the Disney Skyliner and the station at Caribbean Beach is well underway.

A short jaunt over to Old Port Royale shows us a few new bus stops being constructed.

The custom house will soon close and guests will check-in and such in a new lobby located at Old Port Royale. As you can see here, we are probably still a few months away from that. Be sure to check out all of the previously released concept art to get a better idea of what this will all look like.

Despite the opening of Spyglass Grill, the Centertown food tent is still a thing.

Work continues on the new waterside Shutters Restaurant and Banana Cabana Lounge.

The boardwalk around the restaurant doesn’t really exist at the moment.

A look across the water reveals the latest progress on the upcoming Riviera Hotel, a Disney Vacation Club Resort.

Work on Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is expected to be completed by the Fall, with the Disney Skliner and Riviera Hotel arriving sometime in 2019.
