Disney has just announced that a special Halloween V.I.PASSHOLDER Pop Up will be at Magic Kingdom on Friday September 28th. Passholders will get early access to the Magic Kingdom’s Main Street USA from 7:30am – 9:00am, where they will be among the first to purchase exclusive merchandise. Included is a complimentary beverage and snack, as well as Halloween themed Character Meets.
A list of merchandise listed on the Disney World site includes the following:
- Villain Ear Hat Collection by Dooney & Bourke: Show off your wicked style with the Villain Ear Hat Collection by Dooney & Bourke, including a tote, crossbody purse and wristlet. Featuring an allover pattern of various Disney Villains embodied as Ear Hats, this collection is the epitome of evil elegance. Created especially for Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. Purchase of these items is limited to 2 per Guest.
- Limited Release Haunted Mansion Hitchhiking Ghost Plush Set: Happy haunts materialize with this limited release collectible plush set. This item features individual plush of Ezra, Phineas and Gus all beautifully packaged in a Madame Leota tombstone-shaped box. A perfect addition for all cold-blooded collectors!
- Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas: Add a little spookiness to the holiday season with merchandise celebrating the 25th anniversary of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
It’s important to note that registration is not required, you will need a valid annual pass and photo ID at check-in, and that the activities and offerings are subject to change without notice. Make sure to note that merchandise is only available while supplies last, and given how fast Funko! Pop’s disappear, it would be beneficial to get there on time. You can use your 20% Passholder merchandise discount for purchases during this event though. The attractions at Magic Kingdom open at 9:00am, so you will only be able to access Main Street USA during this advanced time.

Although I appreciate the gesture, this event on a weekday at MZ is a terrible idea. Unless of course you are retired and like getting up at six in the morning to slog over MK just to get some trinkets because none of this is really that enticing.
Initially I was bummed because we didn’t arrive at WDW until late Friday night. Fortunately, they still had almost all the items there on Saturday morning.
