We have a new update on the progress being made to the Disneyland Resort’s new Marvel Land on the heels of divulging the full plans for the land earlier this week.
When “A Bug’s Land” first closed in September, a very different Stark Industries wall stood in place. This wall stretched along part of the former Land, and a brown and beige wall continued on.

Now, this wall has been replaced with an updated Stark Industries wall. This wall features a more sleek design and really sets the tone for what is to come. It’ll be interesting to see if it’ll be replaced in the future. Perhaps with a wall that contains a sneak peek into the Land.
Next, guests can get a view of the construction on the other side of the wall from the patio outside of Wine Country Trattoria. It appears that progress is underway to convert the former “It’s Tough to be a Bug” theater into the new Spider-Man attraction.
Construction has begun on phase 1 of Marvel Land, opening in year 2020, with phase 2 expected to follow a year or two later. Phase 1 will include a Doctor Strange show experience and Ant-Man microbrewery, along with the Spider-Man attraction, restrooms, and shops.
While phase 2 is a little more uncertain, a massive Avenges E-Ticket attraction in the form of a roller coaster is expected to join Marvel Land. Also, Phase 2 is likely to bring the Quinjet, along with more shopping opportunities.
