Ever wonder what happened to Rosita? Well, you and the birds of the Enchanted Tiki Room will know soon enough as, according to the Disney Parks Blog, the long lost cockatoo will be featured in the new Tropical Hideaway food and beverage area when it opens later this year at Disneyland.
According to the Parks Blog, “After years of performing with the bird mobile chorus of Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, Rosita is spreading her wings and taking flight towards a solo career. You’ll find her on the river’s edge at the loading dock waiting for her boat to arrive.”
Full of jokes and one-liners, Rosita isn’t the first solo bird act for Disneyland as Juan the Barker Bird used to sit above the show’s entrance and beckon people to see the show.
