It’s almost showtime at The Tropical Hideaway, Disneyland’s upcoming lounge in Adventureland, and today, Disney revealed some of the menu items that will be found at the new hot spot.
Bao buns will be a centerpiece of the menu, coming in three different varieties: Spiced Vegetable Bao, Kaffir Lime Chicken Bao, and Bulgogi Beef Bao (for those who saw a certain Pixar short ahead of “Incredibles 2” this summer, please try to keep the tears to a minimum). There will also be a chilled ramen salad and “tropical-inspired snacks.”
But perhaps the most interesting item on the menu is the pineapple lumpia, making its west coast debut after the snack rose to popularity in Pandora: The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom (here’s hoping it causes less confusion).
The lounge replaces the former Aladdin’s Oasis. The Tropical Hideaway is scheduled to open later this year.
