Last week, we announced a reopening date for Phantom Manor at Disneyland Paris based on information which was publicly available on the official park website. However, as of this morning, Phantom Manor is now shown as closed without a definite re-opening date for at least the next 90 days.
The attraction closure calendar only displays up to 90 days into the future. It has been since updated to show the iconic attraction closed indefinitely, despite what was published last week, when the calendar showed that the ride would reopen on Feb. 16, 2019.
We still do not have a confirmed re-opening date and will report back when reliable information is made available.
The ride, which has been closed since January of this year, was initially expected to reopen no later than December of 2018, as part of the resort’s billion-euro Experience Enhancement Program (EEP), AKA “Project Sparkle.” This initiative began in 2015 to reinvigorate the park’s major attractions and the resort’s overall condition ahead of its 25th Anniversary.
