Earlier this week, we told you that park specific reusable bags would be coming to Walt Disney World Resort and on Sunday we got our first look at their Parks and Resorts themed bags. Well, the reusable bags have made it to the West Coast and they have us considering a trip over just to get these adorable themed bags! We found these specifically at the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A.
Medium Reusable Bags – $1.50
The bags feature Sleeping Beauty Castle…
… as well as the “it’s a small world” facade, Space Mountain, an AT-AT, and of course, Mickey!
The medium-sized bags are on par with what you’d get at most grocery stores.
Small Reusable Bags – $1.00
Large Reusable Bags – $2.00
Bags come in three sizes and range from $1 to $2.
Following Disney’s effort to reduce its use of single-use plastics by the end of the year, they’ll also be made from 80% recycled material. Plastic bags are still available to all guests upon request, however they will be transitioning to clear, drastically less themed park bags.
I got one at Epcot yesterday. They didn’t fair well in the rain. I would recommend getting the disposable bags if it is raining. But they are a nice size and the graphics are good. It was nice to fit things from multiple shops in one bag rather than carrying a bunch of smaller bags.
What happened to it in the rain? We had ours out in the rain and it seemed to be fine.
Can these be purchased on the internet, can’t get the the parks for a few years?
Nope
Should I be amazed at how reasonably priced these are?! Love them.
