Wow, Disneyland was originally supposed to only be open for 4 hours today.

You realize that 12am is midnight and not noon, right? So DL would have been open 16 hours, not just four.

The sad part is people paid good money for a full day and they’re losing 2 hours on the back end when there is no rain at that time. The rain ended at 3pm. If they wanted to shorten the day, they should have opened later when it was raining.

I’m a bit confused here on why they are closing Disneyland. While thet might close some rides at Magic Kingdom, they certainly don’t close the park for rain. Are the rains really that bad there?

It was a really bad storm, also people in LA don’t pop out in the rain, it’s not as common there.

Typical comment when a Disney Park closes for dangerous weather when nothing happens: They are being so inconsiderate to people that have spent so much money to come. All because they want to make more money!

Typical comment when a Disney Park doesn’t close soon enough before dangerous weather: They are being so inconsiderate to guests and their safety. All because they want to make more money!

I believe safety for everyone was the number one purpose for the early closer. Safety for the guest and the workers. Plus the night crew that clean up Disneyland and make repairs at night need time to finish and prepare for the next day opening. Consideration for all.
