Construction started in earnest for the upcoming Ratatouille attraction at Epcot about a year ago. Since then, quite a bit has changed.

They’ve started installing the frame for the facade on the front of the show building. You can see it from the bridge near the International Gateway, but also somewhat when you’re in the actual France pavilion.

This area will be the path that leads around the back of the current pavilion to where the attraction will be. They’re in the process of building a wall along the waterway.

The upcoming Skyliner cuts a path right next to the new area. Since the Skyliner is supposed to open this Fall, I can imagine it will give us great views of this construction.

Around the corner, we can see the front of the show building. This will be the entrance to the attraction.

If you compare it to the concept art from Disney, you can get an idea of what all the steel framing is for.

Disney says the attraction will be ready by Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary in 2021, but we think Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure could open as soon as May 2020.

Are you excited for the new attraction? We’ll keep you updated on any changes!
