If you’re a fan of Dole Whip, and looking for a new way to booze it up besides rum, we highly suggest a stop at The Basket by Wine Bar George at Disney Springs. For a limited time, you can enjoy the Dole Whip Froscato or Mimosa.
Most people will probably tell you that Dole Whip is one of their “must have” snacks when visiting the parks. Over the years, more locations have added the traditional pineapple Dole Whip to their menu, and many locations are even offering Dole Whip with Rum (with the exception of the Magic Kingdom). Well, there’s a new way to enjoy a boozy Dole Whip at Disney. The Dole Whip Froscato is a frozen, slushy-type drink combining the amazing taste of Dole Whip with Moscato and vodka. You can even get it served as a Mimosa with Prosecco. That’s right, dreams do come true.
The Basket by Wine Bar George is located at Disney Springs, across from Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar. This convenient walk up window offers some great grab-and-go adult beverages (and the Rose All Day Cookie)! For $10, you can enjoy the new Dole Whip Froscato, and you honestly can’t go wrong.
The Dole Whip Froscato is delicious. It’s has a fresh taste, with just a light taste of alcohol. This twist on the wine slushy is definitely a win thanks to the bright pineapple flavor. It’s a smooth, new way to enjoy our beloved Dole Whip, and we’re in love.
The Mimosa is a bit of a fail, but it does add an extra boost to the already tasty drink. The Cast Member tried to stir it up before serving it to us, with no luck. The Prosecco just separates and sits at the bottom. We tried to stir it too, but it just made the drink frothy. The mimosa just doesn’t seem to work, and for $15, you may want to just skip it and go for the straight up Dole Whip Froscato alone. You won’t regret it.
Dole Whip is so beloved by Disney fans, there’s been tons of merchandise, new flavors, and now the new Froscato. We definitely recommend this new frozen treat. It’s only available for a limited time, so make sure you stop by soon! Will you be giving the Dole Whip Froscato a try?
