It’s Easter Day and there’s no better place to be than the most Magical Place on Earth: Magic Kingdom. (I know, I know. It’s a hard job, but someone has to do it, right?) You can check out our video of the Easter Pre-Parade here.
Easter Treats
Easter themed treats have hatched at the Confectionary on Main Street, USA and Big Top Souvenirs in Storybook Circus.
The candy apples above were spotted in the Confectionary, while the cake pops below were found in Big Top.
New Merch
I stumbled across this new pink and white tie dye spirit jersey, which looks to be an addition to the Briar Rose Gold line that debuted earlier this month. Right now its only available in children’s sizes, but I really like this color combination, so I’m hoping we see adult sizes soon.
There’s also a new set of Princess mugs that have hit the shelves. I found Belle, Rapunzel, Ariel, Tiana, and Jasmine in the Confectionary. They all have a quote on the opposite relating to their princess, and are (pretty reasonably, for Disney standards) priced at $13.99 each. If only there was an Aurora, I’d definitely be adding that one to my collection. Where do I petition for more Sleeping Beauty love?
Construction Updates
The painting makeover is continuing around Tomorrowland, with Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe getting a little bit of a refresh.
With all the windows taped off, it definitely kills the otherwise usually nice view of Cinderella Castle from this eating area.
The Tomorrowland Speedway looks to be coming together from its refurbishment ahead of its anticipated reopening in May.
After a brief reappearance, the Sword in the Stone is once again covered.
Will the scrim around Castle Couture ever come down?
There does seem to be continued progress being made on the pathway widening project by Cinderella Castle. Check out our last post for all the details on the latest updates!
That wraps up this beautiful Spring day at Magic Kingdom! Keep checking WDWNT for more photo reports!
